Privacy Policy

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

Reseller Sync does not collect, transmit, or have access to:

• Your listing titles, prices, photos, or descriptions
• Your sale history or revenue data
• Your usernames or account credentials on any marketplace
• Your browsing history outside of supported seller pages
• Any personally identifiable information (name, address, email)

2. Local Storage Only

All data Reseller Sync generates — including detected listings, sale history, and settings — is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage.local API. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is never uploaded to our servers
• Is deleted when you uninstall the extension
• Can be cleared at any time from the extension Settings page

3. Permissions We Request and Why

Reseller Sync requests the following Chrome permissions:

• Host access to poshmark.com, depop.com, mercari.com, ebay.com, etsy.com — to scan your seller pages for listing and sale data. We only read the page you are currently viewing.
• storage — to save your listings and settings locally in your browser.
• notifications — to alert you when a sale is detected.
• alarms — to schedule periodic listing scans (every 5 minutes by default).
• tabs — to open delist edit pages when you click "Delist Everywhere."
• scripting, activeTab — to inject the listing-scanner into seller pages you visit.

4. Stripe (Subscription Billing Only)

If you choose to upgrade to a paid plan, your payment is processed by Stripe. Reseller Sync never sees or stores your credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing: stripe.com/privacy.

We receive only a Stripe Customer ID to confirm your subscription status. No other personal or financial data is shared with us.

5. What We Do NOT Do

• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use your data for advertising
• We do not share your data with anyone
• We do not track you across websites
• We do not run analytics on your listing activity

6. Children's Privacy

Reseller Sync is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify users via the extension. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
